  • Amla – 1 kg
  • Heeng – 2 tablespoon
  • Chilli Powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – 350 grams
  • Mustard seeds or Sarson – 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard oil – 1 cup

 

Preparation Method:

Take one-kilo amla and boil it till the skin gets tender.

Pour the amla in a colander so the water can drain out.

Take oil in a pan. Add chili powder, heeng and mustard seeds in hot oil and mix the ingredients.

Now, add salt and Amla as well.

Stir-fry for a few minutes, so the amlas get covered with masala.

Store the Amla ka Achaar or Gooseberry Pickle in an airtight jar.
