- Amla – 1 kg
- Heeng – 2 tablespoon
- Chilli Powder – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 350 grams
- Mustard seeds or Sarson – 1 tablespoon
- Mustard oil – 1 cup

Take one kilo amla and boil it till the skin gets tender.
Pour the amla in colander so the water can drain out.
Take oil in pan. Add chilli powder, heeng and mustard seeds in hot oil and mix the ingredients.
Now, add salt and amla as well.
Stir fry for a few minutes, so the amlas get covered with masala.
Store the Amla ka Achaar or Gooseberry Pickle in air tight jar.
