Ingredients: Baghdadi Chanpe Recipe
½ kg mutton chops
2 tbsp grinded fried brown onions
1 ½ cup whipped yogurt
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp all spice powder
¼ tsp saffron
1 tsp garlic ginger paste
½ cup oil
6 whole red chilies
8 grinded cashew nuts
1 ½ tsp grounded poppy seeds
1 tbsp grinded desiccated coconut
1 tbsp gram flour roasted
Preparation Method: Baghdadi Chanpe
Marinate chops with garlic ginger paste, salt and yogurt and leave aside for 30 minutes.
In a cokking pot add oil and whole red chilies fry for a few seconds and add in the marinated mixture of chops and cook covered for 15 minutes.
Add in the roasted gram flour and all the grinded ingredients. Stir a little. Now add chili powder, all spice, onion paste and cover the pot and cook on low heat until the chops are done.
Add the saffron and cook until oil covers the surface of the gravy.
Serve Baghdadi Chanpe hot with Nan.
