  • ¾ tsp of oregano leaves
  • ½ tsp of basil leaves
  • 1 ½ lb 90% extra lean ground beef
  • ¼ tsp of lemon peel
  • ¼ tsp of ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup of Bread crumb made with Italian style
  • ¼ cup of chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • ¼ tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of salt (coarse)
  • 1 can or 19 ounces of home-style minestrone soup
  • 2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent rounds
  • 1 tbsp of 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cups of shredded Italian cheese blend (8 ounces)

Pre heats the oven to about 400o Inside a small bowl, mix together basil, oregano, lemon peel, garlic powder as well as your black pepper. Keep about ¾ tsp of the mixture and keep it aside. Inside a large bowl, stir in your bread crumbs, ground beef, milk, onion, and the leftover seasoning, stir till they are thoroughly mixed. Form the mixture into about 2-inch meatballs. Then pour your soup in 13×9-inch ungreased glass baking dish and top with your meatballs.

Bake the mixture till bubbly or for about 35 minutes.
