Ingredients:

Banana Dates Energy Balls

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup of pitted dates
  • ¾ cup of uncooked oats without gluten
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp of flax meal or ground flax
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds
  • ¼ cup of walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 ounces of dark chocolate (vegan)
  • 1/3 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

 

Preparation Method:

Banana Dates Energy Balls

  1. Mix the entire ingredients together except chocolate and walnuts, inside a food processor and continue to process till the mixture turned into paste, if the mixture is softer than desired, you can add more oats.
  2. Add the chocolate and walnuts and beat for some time to harmonize and fairly break up the walnuts and chocolate without making them into fine.
  3. Collect about a tbsp of the dough and roll into energy balls
  4. Cover them with shredded unsweetened coconut.
  5. Put Banana Dates Energy Balls inside refrigerator till set to eat.
