- 800 grams fresh mutton (preferably should be cut into pieces)
- 4 tablespoon Oil
- 200 g Onions (sliced)
- 3 tablespoon pepper
- 100 g Ginger-Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 30 g Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 4 red Chilies (whole)
- Salt as per requirement
Preparation method:
Banjari Gosht Recipe
- Chop the onions.
- Take a large pan.
- Heat the pan.
- Pour the oil and let the pan heat for a while.
- Add the sliced and chopped onions.
- Raise the heat of the pan until the onions turn brown.
- Reduce the heat and ginger-garlic paste.
- After a while, add coriander powder and salt along with pepper.
- Heat the pan to a medium level, add red chili powder and stir the mixture.
- Add the mutton to the mixture.
- Raise the heat, and add yogurt to the pan.
- Add 2 teaspoon water
- Wait for five minutes and keep stirring.
- Crush the coriander seeds
- Add crushed Roasted coriander seeds
- Heat the pan for 10 minutes
- Wait for the meat to get soft and juicy.
- Add some red chilies.
- Include coriander if like
- Garnish the curry with little more oil.
- Use chopped green fresh chilies at the end.
