Banjari Gosht Recipe

 

Banjari Gosht (mutton recipe) is one of the famous recipes of Rajasthan.   The Banjari Gosht recipe is a unique combination of wonderful spices and flavors of Rajasthan spices with a finger licking flavor. It is one of the delicious Indian recipes served in Indian parties. The Banjari Gosht recipe (mutton recipe) is the easy and healthy recipe.

 

 

Ingredients: Banjari Gosht Recipe

 

  • 800 grams fresh mutton (preferably should be cut into pieces)
  • 4 table spoon Oil
  • 200 g Onions (sliced)
  • 3 table spoon pepper
  • 100 g Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 table spoon Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 30 g Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 table spoon Coriander Seeds
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 4 red Chilies (whole)
  • Salt as per requirement

 

 

 

Preparation method: Banjari Gosht Recipe

 

  • Chop the onions.
  • Take a large pan.
  • Heat the pan.
  • Pour the oil and let the pan heat for a while.
  • Add the sliced and chopped onions.
  • Raise the heat of the pan until the onions turn brown.
  • Reduce the heat and ginger-garlic paste.
  • After a while, add coriander power and salt along with pepper.
  • Heat the pan to a medium level, add red chili powder and stir the mixture.
  • Add the mutton to the mixture.
  • Raise the heat, and add yogurt to the pan.
  • Add 2 tea spoon water
  • Wait for five minutes and keep stirring.
  • Crush the coriander seeds
  • Add crushed Roasted coriander seeds
  • Allow the pan to be heated for 10 minutes
  • Wait for the mutton to get soft and juicy.
  • Add some red chilies.
  • Coriander can be added if required
  • Garnish the curry with little more oil.
  • Chopped green fresh chilies can be used at the end.
