This Beef Curry Recipe is easy to make and a healthy recipe of beef.  It is full with flavor and you can feel it when you pour it into your bowl. It is fantastic with your favorite steamed rice, potatoes or nan. Vegetable salad will be a great combination.

Lean beef, minced, 500 g

Onion, chopped, 1 large

Garlic Clove, crushed, 1

Curry powder, 1 tbsp

Ground ginger, ¼ tsp

Ground cumin, ¼ tsp

Apple, peeled and grated, 1

Sultanas or raisins, seedless, 2 tbsp

Can condensed beef, 300 g

Mushrooms, quartered, 100 g

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, freshly grated, to taste

Place the beef, onion, and garlic in a saucepan and fry over moderate heat until the beef is well browned. Keep stirring constantly to break up lumps.

Stir in the spices and cook for 2 minutes then stir in the apple, raisins and condensed beef. Season to taste with salt and freshly crushed ground black pepper.

Bring to boil then simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Stir in the mushrooms and simmer for a further 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Serve Beef Curry with boiled rice and sliced onion.
