Beetroot Soup Recipe

As it is rightly said, the eye eats before the mouth and the mind follow, the beetroot soup is so enticing with the reddish color that it is almost irresistible. Apart from the enticing look the amazing flavors and aroma is enough to make one salivate. Then, the mouthwatering coupled with the health benefits made it the best meal for all.

 

Ingredients: Beetroot Soup Recipe

  1. cup of beet root – chopped and peeled
  2. 1 cup of bottle gourd – peeled and also chopped
  3. ½ cup of chopped onion
  4. ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  5. ½ cup of potato – Already peeled and also chopped
  6. ½ teaspoon of sugar
  7. Salt
  8. ¼ teaspoon of black pepper (powdered)
  9. Cream
  10. Coriander leaves – chopped for garnishing.

 

 

Preparation Method: Beetroot Soup Recipe

 

Put the beetroot, tomato, onion, bottle gourd together with the potato with two cups water into a pan.

 

Put on heat and allow it to boil then, heat it until the entire vegetables become soft.

 

Bring down from heat, allow it to cool then blend using a blender. strain it using a sieve

 

Put in sugar, black pepper and salt.

 

Serve your beetroot soup hot or chilled garnishing with coriander leaves and cream.
