Ingredients:
Bendakaya Pulusu Recipe | Okra in Tamarind Gravy
250 grams of okra
75 ml of oil
05 grams of mustard seeds
03 grams of curry leaves
10-gram s of green chilies
03 gams of asafetida
100 grams of onions
05 grams of turmeric
20 grams of red chili powder
75 grams of sambhar powder
Salt to taste
100 grams of tamarind water

Preparation Method:
Bendakaya Pulusu Recipe | Okra in Tamarind Gravy
Slice the okra in about 1-inch pieces length
Soak tamarind inside water and bring out the pulp.
Cut the green chilies and onion
Heat your oil and put mustard seeds inside. Allow the mixture to crackle before putting your onions.
Heat the onions till becomes translucent
Add all the powders and the curry leaves
Pour in sliced okra and heat on slow flame up to 5 minutes
Pour in water and tamarind to the think gravy; allow to boil till okra is cooked
Simmer again on top of slow fire for about 10 minutes.
