Discover an Indian recipe made in collaboration with the Best Indian Chef. We chose to make an Indian chicken called “Butter Chicken” or Chicken with Butter, with a spicy sauce (garam masala in particular), cashews and coriander.

Do not worry; there are only 70 grams of butter in this sauce that is divinely healthy, smooth and very sweet. We also show you, how to cook Indian boiled rice, it’s very easy.

Ingredients:

4 Chicken breasts
1 Onion
2 Cloves garlic
3 cm fresh ginger
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 can 400 g of crushed tomatoes or 4 tomatoes pureed
50 g of cashew nuts
50 g of butter
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin in grain
1/2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp of garam masala
100 ml of cream
1 lemon

Preparation Method:

Cut the chicken into small pieces and coat with the following marinade: tomato paste, half of the pressed garlic, half of the ginger, salt, 2 tbsp of garam masala, the fresh juice of ½ lime.

In a frying pan, place one tablespoon oil and warm it. Later, include the chopped onion, the rest of the garlic and ginger, cook for 10 minutes and keep stirring so that it does not burn.

Add the cumin, coriander, paprika, the rest of garam masala by coating well. Pour 1 glass of water and allow cook until the water evaporated.

Add to this spicy paste, crushed tomato, and cashews, 1 large glass of water, cover and simmer on low heat 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons cooking oil in a skillet and grasp the chicken on all sides.

Place the spicy sauce in the blender to obtain a creamy sauce and put it back in the pan with the chopped butter and the chicken. Cook the chicken pieces with this sauce for 10 minutes.

Finally, add the cream and serve immediately with fresh coriander.
