Carrot Kheer Recipe | Carrot Payasam

Ingredients:

Carrots, ½ kg
Rice soaked, 1 cup
Milk, 2 ½ kg
Milk, powder 250 grams
Sugar, 1 ½ cups
Green cardamom (crushed), few
Screw pine a few drops
Almond and Pistachios Crushed As desired

Carrot Kheer Recipe | Carrot Payasam

Preparation Method:

Wash and peel the carrot; boil it in a pan and blend it in a blender

Boil milk and add soaked rice

Cook on the low flame until it becomes smooth

Add blended carrots, sugar and crushed cardamom and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Remove the cooking pan from the flame when Carrot Kheer thickens.

Add milk powder and few drops of screw-pine and mix it

Dish out; garnish with crushed almond and pistachios
