Cauliflower with potatoes recipe | Aloo Gobi Recipe

Cauliflower with potatoes recipe or Aloo Gobi is a healthy vegetable recipe.  Aloo Gobi recipe is originated in Punjab but this is a favorite vegetarian recipe across India and Pakistan.

 

 

Ingredients:

Cauliflower with potatoes recipe | Aloo Gobi Recipe

 

Cauliflower cut in florets                                ¼ kg

Potatoes, diced                                                ¼ kg

Tomatoes, chopped                                         2

Onion, chopped                                                1

Turmeric powder                                             1 tsp

Ginger and garlic paste                                   1 tsp

Red Chili powder                                              2 tsp

Coriander powder                                            1 tsp

Green chili, chopped                                        4

Cooking oil                                                         1/2 cup

Salt                                                                     to taste

Fresh coriander, chopped                               2 tsp

Water                                                                 1 cup

 

 

Preparation Method:

Blend onion and tomatoes in a blender or food processor. Heat the oil in a pan and fry ginger and garlic paste, add the blended mixture of onion and tomatoes. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chili and coriander powder and cook for 5-7 minutes.

 

Add cauliflower, potatoes and green chilies, mix and add I cup of water. Cover the pan and cook on low heat till vegetables are tender.

 

Aloo Gobi is ready, sprinkle with chopped coriander and serve warm.
