Cheese and Spinach Puffs recipe is a tempting appetizer that looks like difficult to make but in reality, it is an easy puffs recipe. I ate and got this spinach and cheese Puffs recipe from a friend of mine.
Ingredients: Cheese and Spinach Puffs
Spinach, cooked and chopped, 150 g
Cottage cheese, 175 g
Nutmeg, grated, 1 tbsp
Egg white, 2
Parmesan cheese, grated, 2 tbsp
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation Method:
Cheese and Spinach Puffs
Preheat the oven to 220C and oil 6 ramekin dishes.
Mix together the spinach and cottage cheese in a small bowl then add the nutmeg and seasoning to taste.
Whisk the egg whites in a bowl until stiff enough to hold soft peaks. Fold them evenly in the spinach mixture using a large metal spoon and then spoon the mixture into the oiled ramekins. Divide the mixture evenly and smooth the tops.
Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until well risen and golden brown. Serve immediately.
