Chicken cutlets are also referred to as chicken patties or Tikki. Delicious and crispy chicken cutlets recipe can be managed in just forty (40) minutes. These make a great snack or appetizer for weekend meals and parties. When preparing this, the boneless chicken breast can be used. While making chicken cutlets, you can combine potato or bread with it.

Ingredients:

250-300g of chicken

½ cup, finely chopped onions

One medium of boiled and mashed potato

A half cup of boiled peas

One green chili slit

1 ½ tablespoon of ginger garlic paste

A handful of coriander leaves and pudina /mint

1 ½ tablespoon of garam masala or all spice powder as needed

1 ½ cup rice flour or breadcrumbs (use as needed)

¼ cup besan /chickpea or any flour (substitute with egg)

2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil for pan frying.

Salt as needed

Boil chicken in a pot until it’s completely cooked. Cool the chicken and mince it to blend it in a blender.

Add onions mashed potato, chili, garam masala, ginger, garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander leaves.

Mix all together and add flour little by little only as needed. Knead the mixture to dough without the addition of water. Onions release moisture and bind the mixture well.

Make 8-9 patties or cutlets or more depending on you. Make a batter using flour and very little salt or beat an egg with salt.

Dip the patty in batter or egg and then immediately dip in the breadcrumbs. Keep these aside for 15minutes. Pat the cutlets well to bind the crumbs well.

Heat a pan with oil and shallow fry or deep fry or pan fry depending on your Choice of frying.

Serve chicken cutlets hot with ketchup or green chutney.
