Chicken Shashlik Recipe | Korean Style

 

Recently, yakitori (Japanese: 焼き鳥) or word shaslik or shashlyk (Russian: шашлык) is gradually very popular around the world. Chicken shashlik is being eaten almost in all countries. Originally, it was made with lamb. Now, it is made of all types of meat and mixed with vegetables. This dish is grilled with bamboo sticks and grilled with chicken. Now people make Frying pan in the home kitchen. When eating, it is dipped in soy sauce and sweet and salty sauce to taste.

Ingredients

Chicken boneless ½ kg

Chicken Powder 1 tbsp

Black pepper grounded 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Vinegar 2 tbsp

Capsicum 2 medium

Cooking oil 3 spoon

Sesame seeds as required

Wooden skewers few

Ingredients of Sauce

Ginger paste 1 tbsp

Garlic paste 1 tbsp

Red chili flakes 1 tbsp

Soya sauce 1 tbsp

Olive oil (or salad oil) 1 tbsp

Honey 2 tbsp

Ketchup ½ cup

Preparation Method

Step 1

Wash the chicken breast from running water and cut it into small pieces.

Step 2

Wash the green capsicum or red capsicum, remove the white part from them and cut into small pieces.

Step 3

Take a bowl and add chicken pieces into it. Include chicken powder, black pepper, vinegar and salt to taste. Mix it well and set aside for 20 minutes for margination.

Step 4

Now prepare the sauce, Take another medium bowl and garlic and ginger paste in it. Also include chili flake, soya sauce, olive oil or salad oil. No add honey and ketchup. Now after adding all the ingredients of the sauce, combine them well and set aside.

Step 5

Now start assembling the already marinated chicken pieces on the wooden skewers one by one with one piece of capsicum in the middle of each chicken piece. Keep repeating it until the last piece of chicken. Now, put the chicken skewers in the adjacent place.

Put the chicken skewers on the washed bamboo sticks, and place the chili.

Step 6

Take a frying pan and place it on the low-medium heat and add 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil.

Step 7

Start frying the chicken shashlik in the pan. After a gap of 4-5 minutes change the side of the chicken skewers on the other side. Now, use a brush to spread the sauce all through the chicken skewers. Repeat this process after tuning the chicken skewers. Let cook the chicken until it becoming golden brown.

Step 8

Take out from the pan and place it on a plate. Cook all the ready chicken skewers in the same manner.

After that, sprinkle the sesame seed on them.
