Lemon garlic chicken recipe is extremely easy to cook and delicious to eat; serve this succulent tapas dish with home-made aioli if you like.
Ingredients: Chicken with Lemon and Garlic
225g skinless chicken breast fillets
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 tsp paprika
1 lemon juice
Salt and black pepper
Parsley sprigs, to garnish
Lemon wedges, to serve
Preparation Method: Chicken with Lemon and Garlic
Sandwich the chicken breast fillets between to sheets of clear film or greaseproof paper. Bat out with a rolling pin or meat mallet until the fillets are about ¼ in thick.
Cut the chicken into strips about ½ in wide. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Stir-fry the chicken strips with the shallot, garlic and paprika over a high heat for about 3 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through. Add lemon juice and parsley with salt and black pepper.
Serve this chicken recipe with lemon wedges, garnished with parsley sprigs.
