Cocktail Kebabs Recipe is an Anglo-Indian recipe that is served as a starter. These bite-sized appetizers are perfect for any cocktail gatherings, parties, game nights or any occasion to munch with family members and friends. You can make several variations by adding other different ingredients to make the elegant appetizer.

Ingredients:

Lamb or mutton minced ½ kg
Gram lentil (chana dal) ½ cup
Onion, chopped 1 medium
Red chilies, dried, chopped 2
Ginger (adrak), chopped 2 tbsp
Mixed spices (gram masala) 1 ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Egg, beaten 1
Green coriander (Hara dhaniya) 1 tsp
Onion, finely chopped 4 tbsp
Green chilies, finely chopped 1 tbsp
Oil for frying

Boil the minced lamb or mutton along with gram lentil, onion, red chili and ginger in 4 cups of water for 30 minutes or till the meat and grams are tendered and water evaporated. Keep aside and make it cool.
Grind the mixture finely, add the mixed spices, chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chilies, and beaten egg and knead it well. Divide into 20 equal portions and keep aside. Shape the portions into balls.
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and deep fry the Cocktail Kebabs for few minutes, till crisp and brown.
Serve warm, garnish with the green salad or onion rings.
