Crème Caramel Recipe

Sugar, 250 g

Milk, 600 ml

Water, 2 tbsp

Eggs, 4 large

Vanilla essence, 4 drops


Preparation Method:

Crème Caramel Recipe

In a saucepan, mix half sugar in the water and bring to a boil over the medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes or till you get a rich brown caramel color. Remove from heat and pour into 4 ovenproof bowls or an oven-proof dish. Place all bowls on a baking tray half filled with water.

Mix milk and vanilla and heat through about 2-3 minutes. Beat the eggs and remaining sugar together then gradually mix in the milk. Pour over the caramel and refrigerate it at 170 C for a few hours.

Serve Crème Caramel as it is or turn upside down by pressing a blade of the knife all around and place it on a plate. Garnish with extra caramel and Serve cold.
