Curried Lamb and Lentils Recipe

Boneless lamb steak, 500 g

Medium onion, chopped, 1

Celery stick, chopped, 1

Hot curry paste, 15 ml

Tomato puree, 2 tbsp

Stock, 2 cups

Green lentils, 1 cup

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Fresh coriander leaves, to garnish

Boiled rice, to serve

 

Preparation Method:

Curried Lamb and Lentils Recipe

In a large, non-stick pan, fry the lamb steaks without fat until browned, turning once

Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes, then stir in the curry paste, tomato puree, stock, and lentils.

Bring to boil, cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes until tender. Add more stock, if necessary. Season and serve with coriander and boiled rice.
