Ingredient: Curried Lamb and Lentils Recipe



Boneless lamb steak                                       500 g

Medium onion, chopped                                1

Celery stick, chopped                                     1

Hot curry paste                                               15 ml

Tomato puree                                                   2 tbsp

Stock                                                                  2 cups

Green lentils                                                      1 cup

Salt                                                                      to taste

Black pepper                                                      to taste

Fresh coriander leaves                                    to garnish

Boiled rice                                                           to serve



Preparation Method: Curried Lamb and Lentils Recipe


In a large, non-stick pan, fry the lamb steaks without fat until browned, turning once


Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes, the stir in the curry paste, tomato puree, stock and lentils.


Bring to boil, cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes until tender. Add more stock, if necessary. Season and serve with coriander and boiled rice.
