Egg Aviyal Recipe/ Mutta Aviyal recipe

 

Egg Aviyal Recipe or Mutta Aviyal recipe is an original Indian recipe by grandmother, Mothers and Indian food lovers. It is special south Indian dish; mutta aviyal is originated from south Kerala. The Kerala cuisines use coconut in most of the dishes.

 

 

 

Ingredients: Egg Aviyal Recipe/ Mutta Aviyal recipe

 

  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 small Potatoes
  • 200 grams coconut
  • 1 table spoon cumin seeds
  • 3 onions
  • 1 table spoon chili powder
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • 5 green chilies
  • 2 curry leaves
  • 3 table spoon coconut oil
  • Salt to taste

  • Take a bowl and add water.
  • Add eggs and heat the bowl.
  • Wait for 10 minutes. Take the eggs out and put into cold water.
  • Peel of the skin and slice the eggs.
  • Again heat the pan and add potatoes.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the potatoes and peel off the skin.
  • Cut the potatoes, the French fries shape will be more suitable.
  • Take a blender; add coconut, cumin seeds, and small red onions.
  • Add water, chili powder and turmeric powder.
  • Grind the paste for 2 minutes.
  • Heat the pan and add paste. Add curry leaves, chili, salt and lime water. Stir the mixture for 3 minutes.
  • Add the boiled sliced eggs, add the potatoes.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly and heat the pan moderately.
  • The eggs will be soft, don’t break the boiled eggs.
  • Add water and keep stirring.
  • After five minutes, the curry should be thick.
  • Turn off the heat and add coconut oil.
  • Keep the pan covered and wait for 1 minute.
  • Take a dish and pour the curry.
  • Garnish will green chilies and coriander leaves.
  • The Egg Aviyal, Mutta Aviyal dish is ready to be served.
