Fan Qie Chao Dan Recipe (Eggs & Tomato over Rice)

Fan Qie Chao Dan Recipe (fan Q IEC好Dan) is a Chinese comfort food which can be served with various toppings, such as sesame seeds, avocado, rice wine and cilantro. Super easy to cook recipe that does not take more than 15 minutes.

Ingredients: Fan Qie Chao Dan Recipe (fan Q IEC好Dan)

 

  • Eggs – 4
  • Scallions – 3
  • Tomatoes – 2 Large
  • Rice Wine – 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame Oil, Toasted – 2 teaspoons
  • Kosher Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar – ½ teaspoon
  • Rice Wine Vinegar – 2 teaspoons
  • Cornstarch – 1 ½ teaspoons
  • Cooked Rice

 

 

 

Cooking Method: Fan Qie Chao Dan Recipe (fan Q IEC好Dan) (Eggs & Tomato over Rice)

 

Take scallions and chop the green and white pieces separately.

Take well beaten eggs and mix sesame oil, salt and rice wine.

Chop tomatoes and the size should be almost ¾ inch.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the mixture of eggs. Cook both sides of eggs to run down the rawness. When these are 90% cooked, transfer the eggs in a dish.

Take one tablespoon oil in a pan. In hot oil, mix the scallions (white pieces) and salt. Fry the scallions for a minute and mix the tomatoes, green scallions, sugar and vinegar. Cook these ingredients for two more minutes.

Take a bowl and add one tablespoon water and cornstarch. Mix the ingredients and transfer to tomato mixture. Keep on stirring till the sauce gets thickened. Take the fried eggs, add and cook for 60 seconds. Check the salt and stir the mixture.

Serve the Fan Qie Chao Dan Recipe Eggs & Tomato dish over Rice.
