Ingredients: Fried Apple Pie Rolls Recipe

2 tbsp of butter

5 cups of apple (peeled and diced)

4 tbsp of ground cinnamon

Pinch ground nutmeg

Pinch salt

1 tbsp of all-purpose flour

2 tbsp of lemon juice

8 pieces of egg roll wrappers

4 tbsp of coconut oil

 

 

Preparation Method: Fried Apple Pie Rolls Recipe

Put the butter in a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat till it starts to brown. Put apples, ¾ teaspoon cinnamon, and 3 tbsp of sugar, salt and nutmeg. Cook for about six to eight minutes or till apples softened, stir occasionally. Add all-purpose flour and cook for a minute. Bring out of heat add lemon juice in it.

Put an egg roll wrapper inside a neat work surface making one corner facing you. Brush the edges with water lightly. Then place 1/3 cup apple filling at the center. Fold the sides of the wrapper towards the filling, fold the bottom corner in, and then roll up the corner tightly. Do this again on the remaining filling and wrapper, clean up and dry your pan.

Mix the remaining one tbsp of sugar and the ½ tsp of cinnamon in a shallow dish and place it close to the stove. Heat up the oil inside pan on a medium heat till shimmering. Put in the rolls and cool while you turn the rolls frequently, till all the sides turn golden brown or continue to cook till 5-7 minutes. Now, turned the hot apple pie rolls with cinnamon sugar and enjoy.
