Ingredients: Fried Rice with Shrimp Recipe

 

  • Broccoli florets – one cup
  • Red bell paper – 1 (cut into strips)
  • Sugar snap peas – 1 cup trimmed
  • Cooked white rice -1 cup (chilled)
  • Shrimp peeled and deveined – 12 ounces
  • Lower Sodium Soy Sauce – ¼ cup
  • Sriracha – 1 tsp
  • Green onions thin and sliced in a diagonal fashion – ¼ cup
  • Canola oil – 7 tbsp
  • Yellow bell pepper cut into strips – 1
  • Fresh ginger peeled and grated – 1 tbsp
  • Dark sesame oil – 1 tbsp
  • Frozen edamame – 1 ½ cup
  • Rice vinegar – 1 ½ cup

 

 

Preparation Method: Fried Rice with Shrimp Recipe

 

  • Start by steaming broccoli for a period of 4 minutes till it gets crispier and keep at a side.

 

  • Heat a large pan over medium level heat. To this make the addition canola oil 1 tsp and insert bell peppers as well as the sugar snap peas into it stir fry for approximately a period of ten seconds.

 

  • Insert rice and stir fry for approximately five minutes till the rice gets light brown color. Remove this mixture from pan and add rice into a bowl along with the mixture of vegetable.

 

  • With a paper towel wipe pan and place it again on medium level heat. Insert seasame oil and swirl for coating.

 

 

  • Put shrimp in it and stir fry for a period of 60 seconds. Make the addition of edamame and stir fry for another 60 seconds. Mix in it sauce, sriracha, vinegar and bring a boil. Allow it cook for another 3 minutes or till the time when liquid gets a thicker consistency.

 

  • To this add the mixture of vegetables and the green onions and mix till it gets combined. Allow it to get cooked for one minute till it gets heated in a thorough manner and during this time period keep on stirring.
