  • 85 g or 3 oz walnuts after soaked and rinsed
  • 220 g dates
  • 35 g cacao powder
  • 30ml coconut oil
  • 1/8 tablespoon of Himalayan salt

Glaze ingredients:

  • 45ml coconut oil
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • A pinch of vanilla powder

Preparation Method:

Glazed Chocolate Balls

Use the food processor to grind those ingredients until they are thick and moist. Once they are ready, create balls from it before placing them in the freezer for approximately 20 minutes until they are solid.

Turn on the stove for melting the coconut oil at a very low temperature. Mix the vanilla powder and maple syrup within the melted coconut oil afterward. Keep stirring until it becomes like your desired caramel glazing.

Then, place the cold and firm balls and roll them until they are all glazed entirely. Put the Balls back in the freezer. Do similar steps until all glaze runs out. Keep in mind that they shouldn’t be kept in the freezer for more than a week.

For better alternatives, try dates for replacing the maple syrup because it delivers the caramel-like texture. If it is hard to find vanilla powder, vanilla extract will do. Rolled oats are easy to find, but cheaper alternatives like dried coconut or walnuts can be the best replacement for Glazed Chocolate Balls.
