Nothing can resist the temptation of chocolate. Even if you’re running your healthy diet plan, the Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes recipe should be on your main list.

Fill your day with energy. Start it with this nourishing recipe that will never make you feel guilty in eating chocolate.

Ingredients: Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes

  • 85 g or 3 oz of rolled oats
  • 85 g or 3 oz walnuts after soaked and rinsed
  • 220 g dates
  • 35 g cacao powder
  • 30ml coconut oil
  • 1/8 tablespoon of Himalayan salt

Preparation Method: Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes

Use the food processor to grind those ingredients until they are thick and moist. Once they are ready, create balls from it before placing them within the freezer for approximately 20 minutes until they are solid.

Glaze ingredients: Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes

  • 45ml coconut oil
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • A pinch of vanilla powder

Preparation Method: Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes

Turn on the stove for melting the coconut oil on very low temperature. Mix the vanilla powder and maple syrup within the melted coconut oil afterwards. Keep stirring until it becomes like your desired caramel glazing.

Then, place the cold and firm chocolate doughnut holes and roll them until they are all glazed entirely. Put the glazed doughnut holes back in the freezer. Do similar steps until all glaze runs out. Keep in mind that they shouldn’t be kept within the freezer for more than a week.

For better alternatives, try dates for replacing the maple syrup because it delivers the caramel-like texture. If it is hard to find vanilla powder, vanilla extract will do. Rolled oats are easy to find, but cheaper alternatives like dried coconut or walnuts can be the best replacement for these Glazed Chocolate Doughnut holes. Enjoy!
