Golden Rasmalai Recipe


250 gm cottage cheese; paneer

3 tbsp semolina, sooji

2 tbsp refined flour

300g khoya

1 tbsp cornflour

3 pcs silver paper

1 tsp pine nuts, crushed

1 tsp almonds, crushed

2-liter full cream milk

2 ½ cup sugar

2 tbsp reetha powder mixed with water

½ tsp saffron

2 tsp pistachios, crushed

Preparation Method:

Take flour, fresh paneer, all ingredients, and sugar in a big bowl and mash them comprehensively. Make small balls of this mixture. Prepare the sugar syrup with 1/2 cup sugar and 1.5 cups of freshwater. Add all the prepared balls in sugar syrup and start cooking for 10 minutes.

For making rabdhi (gravy), take 2-liter milk and boil it until it remains 1 to 1/2 liter. After this, add khoya, reetha powder, 2 cup sugar, and saffron. Cook this mixture on low flame and then cool it on room temperature. Put all balls in this rabdhi and place it in the fridge for chilling. Sprinkle nuts and fresh mint on the rabdhi and decorate with silver paper. Delicious Golden Rasmalai is ready to serve. Enjoy!
