Green Peas Soup Recipe is a delicious and healthy and delicious green color veggie soup. This super soup can be served with boiled rice or a slice of bread.

 Ingredients:

Green Peas Soup Recipe

  • Frozen green peas, 2 cups
  • Ginger paste, finely shredded, 1 teaspoon
  • Oil, 1-1/2  tbsp
  • Heavy cream, 3 tbsp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Vegetable stock, 1-1/2 cups
  •  Water, 1 cup

 

For Seasoning:

  • Cumin seeds, 1 Tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds, ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric (Haldi), ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice, 1 Tsp
  • Mixed spices, ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Oil, 1 Tsp
  • Heavy cream (optional), for garnishing

 

Preparation Method:

Green Peas Soup Recipe

Heat the green peas in vegetable stock in a saucepan using little water or no water over medium heat. Cover and bring to a boil about 10 minutes.

Blend the green peas and make a paste.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the green peas mixture, ginger paste and stir fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then remove and set aside.

Now, heat little oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, and turmeric powder, stir few seconds and add water and let it boiled.

Add cooked green peas and heavy cream and bring to the boil over low medium heat and soon it for about 20 minutes then turn off the heat.

Sprinkle lemon juice, mixed spices, black pepper and cover for few minutes to get the aroma.

Garnish with the cream. Serve warm with bread or boiled rice.
