Grilled Chicken Recipe brings back the memories of my young age daughters for sure. They were found of the Grilled Chicken or Chicken Tikka while they were in growing age.  Chicken Drumsticks are the star attraction in one of my daddy’s favorite meals. So, my Grand children’s favorite also and we prepare for them fairly often during their visit to my place.

Grilled Chicken Recipe with Green Salad can be served as a complimentary barbecue item. The chicken dish is mildly spicy or you can adjust the spice according to your requirement. The Grilled Chicken recipe is very simple to prepare. I am sure all your family members will love. Baked or grilled, this BBQ Chicken recipe is a sure favorite.

 

Ingredients:

Grilled Chicken Recipe with Green Salad

 

To Marinade:

Chicken, cut into Pieces          900 g

Orange Juice, fresh                 ½ cup

Olive oil                                    ¼ cup

Mustard Paste                         ¼ cup

Hot sauce                                 ¼ cup

Honey                                       ¼ cup

BBQ sauce                               ¼ cup

Orange zest, grated               1 tbsp

All spices                                 ¼ cup

Butter                                      4 tbsp

 

Preparation Method:

Grilled Chicken Recipe with Green Salad

Combine the orange juice, hot sauce, mustard, olive oil, and freshly grated orange zest in a large bowl. Mix the chicken pieces in the paste and toss well to combine. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and keep aside for at least 1 hour or keep it overnight in the fridge.

Preheat the grill to the medium and let the marinated chicken come to room temperature before start grilling. Grill the chicken pieces under the preheated grill for about 20-25 minutes, turning and basting occasionally, until they are cooked completely and browned.
Meantime, during the process of grilling, melt the butter in a small frying pan on the grill. Mix honey, BBQ sauce, orange juice, spices and mustard paste, orange zest and all spices. Reserve some glaze mixture in a small bowl for Serving.

Brush all the chicken pieces with glaze mixture, then cook for 3-4 minutes and turn over the chicken and brush on the other side and cook for another 3-4 minutes again. Remove the chicken pieces from grill to a serving dish and serve with reserved glaze and assorted green salad.
