Ingredients: Buttermilk Breakfast Cake Recipe
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon shortening
18.25 ounce packed white cake mix
1 teaspoon of crushed sugar
1 cup of buttermilk
3 tablespoons of light brown sugar
½ cup of butter melted
5 large eggs.
Baking Method: Buttermilk Breakfast Cake
Heat your oven before hand to 350 degree. Whisk your 1 cup of buttermilk, ½ cup of melted butter and 1 (18.25 ounces of package white cake mix using an electric mixer at medium speed for up to 1 ½ minutes or until you are sure they are blended thoroughly. Add the egg one at a time and ensure you stir the mixture properly after adding each of the eggs.
Beat cinnamon and sugar together using a small bowl.
Using your shortening, grease a 12-cup Bundt pan and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar on it.
Spoon 1/3 of batter into the pan you already prepared and sprinkle mixture of your brown sugar consistently over the batter and top the mixture with batter that remains.
You can now bake the mixture on 350 degree oven temperature for 45 minutes or you can continue heating the mixture until the long wooden pick you inserted in the center of the cake comes out without stain. Bake the cake on wire rack of oven for 15 minutes. Then remove the cake from pan to the wire rack and leave it there for 20 minutes. Sprinkle Buttermilk-Vanilla to Glaze and somewhat lukewarm cake.
