Hyderabadi Biryani Recipe is an Indian rice dish recipe with chicken, originally from Hyderabad. The dish is a layered mixture of spices and chicken.



Hyderabadi Biryani Recipe

• 600 grams Rice
• 500 grams chicken
• 6 Green chilies (sliced)
• Color as required(Red, Yellow)
• 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
• 250 grams Yogurt
• 10 grams (sliced)
• Spice powder as per requirement
• 6 Green cardamoms
• 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
• 3 Onions
• 6 Cloves
• 250 ML Oil
• 280 ML Warm milk
• 5 Black peppers(whole)
• 4 tablespoon Lemons juice
• Salt as per requirement


Preparation Method:

Hyderabadi Biryani Recipe

• Take a cooking pot, heat the pot and add cooking oil.

• Heat the oil; add ginger garlic paste, yogurt, salt and green chilies and chicken, mint and water.

• Raise the temperature of the pot so that water can dry.

• Take another pot, fill water and add to rice to boil, add cardamoms, spices, mint, and salt.

• Wait for the rice to get half cooked.

• Add green chilies

• Take another pot, add oil and heat the pot, add onions.

• Wait for the onions to get brown.

• Take half onions from the heated pot, save the remaining onions.

• Take another pot, add half rice to the pot with the layer on it.

• Add a cooked chicken and make a layer.

• Add another layer of the rice.

• Place rest of the onions to the layer of the rice.

• Add lemon juice and crushed onions add mint on the top.

• Take a cup and add milk, colors. Pour Milk

• Cover the pot and allow steam to cook the mixture.

• Before taking rice out from the pot, sprinkle brown onions and coriander

• The Hyderabadi Biryani is ready.
