Barbecued Octopus Recipe is a favorite dish for many of us; try this  Octopus Recipe with lime, and coriander at home.  We have used Kecap manis, also known as ketjap manis in this Barbecued Octopus Recipe. It is an Indonesian sweet, thick soy sauce available from some Asian food stores and few super markets.

1.25 kg baby octopus

2 tbsp sweet chili sauce

1 tbsp kecap manis

2 cloves garlic, crushed

¼ cup fresh lime juice

2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped

2 lime, sliced thickly

Remove and discard head and beaks from octopus; cut tentacles in half.

Combine chili sauce, lime juice, kecap manis, garlic, and coriander in a large bowl; add octopus. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.

Drain octopus and discard marinade.

Cook octopus and lime slices in batches on the heated oiled barbecue, uncovered, until brown and cooked through.

Serve octopus with lime slices.
