The Ingredients:

Malai Prawn Curry Recipe

 

  • 1 kilogram of prawns
  • ½ fresh coconut milk
  • 2 ball of onions
  • Two pieces of sticks cinnamon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 pieces of green cardamoms
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pieces of dry red chilies
  • 1-inch fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon of cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoon of yogurt
  • Two teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ghee

 

Preparation Method:

Malai Prawn Curry Recipe

 

In the turmeric and salt, marinate prawns for one hour

Saute the prawns in hot oil and remove it from pan.

Inside the same pan sauté chopped onions and whole garam masala for one minute

Add turmeric, sugar, ginger, cumin powder and red chili.

Add sautéed prawns, yogurt, salt and coconut milk in a pan.

Simmer the mixture for 7 to 8 minutes. Now add ghee and cook prawns for another 2 minutes

Garnish your Malai Prawn Curry with chopped coriander and serve hot.
