Properly marinated olives are a fantastic starter or snack. It is perfect for entertaining your guest and it will be one of the classy gifts.  Marinated olives recipe with coriander seeds and lemon pieces are gorgeous!

Make your own marinated olives as they are full of taste.

For the best flavor, marinate the olives for at least 10 days and serve at room temperature.

Marinated Olives Recipe 

225 g unpitted, green olives

1 tsp coriander seeds

3 garlic cloves

2 small red chilies

3 thick pieces of lemon

5 tbsp white wine vinegar

1 I thyme or rosemary sprig


Preparation Method:

Spread the olives and garlic on a chopping board and flatten them slightly by using a rolling pin. Crush the coriander seeds in a mortar with a pestle.

Combine the olives, garlic, chilies, crushed coriander seed, lemon pieces, thyme sprigs and white vinegar in a large bowl. Mix them well, then transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar. Pour in the cold water to cover. Keep in the refrigerator for at least 5 days before serving.

To get a change, use the mixture of cumin seed and caraway in place of coriander.
