Lean beef or lean meat 225g
Wholemeal breadcrumbs 75 g
Spring onion, chopped 2
Fresh parsley 1 tbsp
Lemon rind, grated 1
Egg white 1
Black pepper to taste
Paprika to taste
Lemon rind and fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation Method: Meat Koftas| Beef Koftas
Place the meat or beef in a food processor with the breadcrumbs, spring onions, parsley, lemon rind, egg white. And pepper. Process the mixture until it is finely chopped and begins to bind together. Alternatively, use a mincer.
Divide the mixture into eight even-sized pieces and shape into long ovals around eight wooden or bamboo skewers.
Sprinkle the paprika on the meat koftas or beef koftas and cook under a hot grill or on a barbecue for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cook through.
