Ingredients of Murg Malaiwala consist of three different categories given in below separately.
1-Gravy:
- Cream 1 cup
- Chopped green chili 3
- 1 chopped onion
- Milk up to 2 ½ cup
- Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Chopped ginger 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tsp, chopped
- Dry ginger powder ½ tsp
- White pepper powder 1 tsp
- Salt according to need
- Kasoori methi 1 tsp
- 1 pinch of saffron
- Garam masala 2 tsp
- Chopped almond 2 tsp
2-Marinade:
- Chicken drumsticks up to 5
- White pepper 2 tsp (powder)
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tsp
3-Garam Masala:
- Just one black cardamom
- Cumin seeds 2 tsp
- Green cardamom 6 to 8
- One cinnamon
- Black pepper 4-5
- One piece mace
- Cloves 4-5
- Dried rose petals 6-7

Preparation Method:

You need to prepare garam masala, gravy, and marination separately by using their own ingredients and proper method explained below.
1) Prepare Gravy:
- Add onion, cream and green chili and heat them until onion becomes soft
- Put the milk in a pan and mix with marinated chicken completely
- Now, add chopped ginger, green cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, white pepper powder, coriander leaves, one pinch of saffron, kasoori methi, garam masala and let it simmer
- Cook it for 6 to 7 minutes and add required amount of salt and mix it
- Garnish with chopped almond and it is ready to serve.
2) For the Marination:
- Wash the chicken drumsticks and make incisions and apply the mixture of paste (the mixture of white pepper, ginger, and garlic) and put drumstick on the side for 30 minutes
