Everybody likes to have a hot bowl of soup, especially during the winter season. I love having a bowl of soup whether I am at a 5-star hotel restaurant or in the Chinese restaurant or just in a mood to have light supper at home. Mushroom Celery and Garlic Soup Recipe are simple and very delicious with tempting flavors.

 

Ingredients:

Mushroom Celery and Garlic Soup Recipe

Chopped Mushrooms, 3 cups

Celery sticks, chopped, 4

Garlic cloves, 3

Chicken stock, 750 ml

Sherry or white wine, 45 ml

Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp

Nutmeg, grated, 1 tsp

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Celery leaves, to garnish

 

Preparation Method:

Mushroom Celery and Garlic Soup Recipe

Place the mushrooms, celery, and garlic in a pan and stir in the sherry or white wine. Cover over a low heat for 30-40 minutes until tender.

Add half the stock and puree in a blender or food processor until smooth. Return to the pan and add the remaining stock, the Worcestershire sauce, and nutmeg.

Bring to the boil, season and serve Mushroom, Celery, and Garlic Soup hot. Garnish with celery leaves.
