Khoya, crushed 500 gms
Caster sugar 300 gms
Pistachios, sliced 10 pieces
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Food color (optional) 2-3 drops

Take a pan and combine khoya with caster sugar.
Heat this mixture on a low flame; keep stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Remove from the heat and cool it for 10 minutes.
Add cardamom powder and desired food color and mix well.
Take a small portion of this mixture and press into the desired cookie mould.
Take it out from the mould carefully.
Place and press 2 slices of pistachio in the middle.
Follow the procedure and make pedhas for all the available khoya mixture.
Delicious Pedas are ready to serve or keep in tight jar.
