Pineapple Katli Recipe or Pineapple Burfi Recipe is a simple and delicious Indian dessert that is served on any occasion. This fruity burfi has a superb taste without fat.



Pineapple Katli Recipe | Pineapple Burfi Recipe

Pineapples, finely chopped    2 cups

Caster Sugar                              2 cups

Cashew Nuts, finely chopped 1 cup

Ghee                                             2 tsp

Pineapple Essence                     few drops

Yellow Food Color a few drops

Coconut, shredded                    to garnish


Preparation Method:

Bring a frying pan and heat up over the medium heat.

Put in the chopped pineapple and stir fry for 3 minutes.

Take out from the pan, make it little cool and use a grinder or food factory to grid it and make a fine pulp.

Shift the fine pineapple pulp again into the frying pan, add sugar powder and cook over the low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Add yellow food color, pineapple essence, cashew nuts paste and ghee. Stir until the mixture becomes thick.

Transfer this thick mixture to the lubricated plate and leave it until it is cool.

Before it becomes totally cool, flatten it, garnish with shredded coconut, and cut into the desired shape.
