Ingredients: Quick Fish Curry Recipe

 

 

White fish pieces, boneless                         750 g

Tomatoes, crushed                                      500 g

Onion, crushed                                             1 large

Cumin seed                                                   1 tsp

Garlic cloves, crushed                                  2

Cooking oil                                                      2 tbsp

Vegetable stock                                             200 ml

Chili powder                                                   to taste

Salt                                                                  to taste

Lemon juice                                                    1

 

 

Preparation Method: Quick Fish Curry Recipe

 

 

Heat cooking oil in a deep pan and fry the onions till soft then add the garlic and cumin. Fry for 2 minutes.

 

Add crushed tomatoes, stir –fry for 2 minutes and then add salt, red chili powder and vegetable stock. Bring to boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

 

In a frying pan, heat the small amount of oil and quickly fry the fish till it turns light golden. Remove and add to the curry pan and cook the fish in the sauce till fish flakes easily.

 

Fish Curry is ready, sprinkle with lemon juice and serve with naan or rice
