Delicious Rice Pudding


  • Salt -1.4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract – half teaspoon
  • Butter – 1 teaspoon
  • Raisins – 2 cups
  • Beaten Egg – one
  • Sugar – 1/3 cups
  • Milk – two cups
  • White rice – 2/3 cups

Preparation Method

  1. Take a saucepan and add 1 ½ cups water to boil. Add rice in boiling water and stir well. Cover the pot. Let the rice boil on low flame for 20 minutes.
  2. Take a saucepan, add sugar, salt, milk 1 ½ cups, and rice 1 ½ cups.
  3. Keep on cooking the ingredients on medium flame till the mixture gets creamy and thick.
  4. Add the remaining milk, raisins, and well-beaten egg.
  5. Keep on stirring the pudding.
  6. Cook the pudding for two minutes.
  7. Add vanilla extract and butter.
  8. Take the rice pudding dessert in a bowl and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg.
