Ingredients: Roast Beef Recipe | Beef Roast


Lean Beef pieces                       1.5 kg

Apple, cored and grated           1

Fresh bread crumbs                 40 g

Chopped hazelnuts                  2 tbsp

Dijon mustard                           1 tbsp

Fresh chives                              1 tbsp

Salt                                             to taste

Black pepper                             to taste




Preparation Method: Roast Beef Recipe | Beef Roast

Cut the fat from the beef leaving a thin layer of fat.

Preheat the oven 220° C. Place the meat on a rack in a roasting tine, cover with aluminum foil and roast for 1 hour then reduce the oven temperature to 180° C.

Mix together the apple, bread-crumbs, nuts, chives, mustard and seasoning. Remove the foil and spread the breadcrumb mixture over the surface of the meat.

Cook the beef for 45-60 minutes or until the meat juices run clear.

Serve roast beef in slices with a rich gravy and green salad.
