Green raw papaya (shredded)

4 long beans (chopped)

6 garlic cloves or about ¼ pod

8 pieces of cherry tomatoes (chopped into quarters)

2 green or red chilly

2 tablespoons of palm sugar

3 tablespoons of lime juice

2 tablespoons of fish sauce or even a soy sauce

3 tablespoons of grounded roasted peanut

Green beans, fresh lettuce, chilly and lime wedges for garnish.

Peel, seed and shred papaya put inside the bowl and keep aside.

Crush your garlic cloves using a pestle, add tomatoes, long beans and pound them together for few minutes to bring out the juice.

Put in chilies and slowly crush it to bring out heat.

Dissolve sugar together with fish sauce and lime juice inside the separate cup.

Mix the entire ingredients together and stir well to toss.

Som Tam or Papaya salad is ready, top with the garnish and serve inside a shallow bowl.
