The Spirulina Energy balls are simply brilliant as they are enriched with energizing ingredients such as spirulina, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. They contain Vitamin B, E and A not only this the protein content serves as a source of essential amino acids. In addition to all this, the antioxidant properties further enhance the nutritive value of these yummy treats. These healthy energy balls are easy to make and don’t ask for specialized efforts.

 

Ingredients:

Spirulina Energy Balls

  • Raw almonds organic 1 cup
  • Dried Apricot ¼ cup
  • Almond butter (organic) ¼ cup
  • Ground flex seed 2 tbsp
  • Shredded coconut 2 tbsp
  • Sea salt 1 tsp
  • Organic dates 1 cup soaked in water
  • Pistachio nuts ¼ cup
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Organic spirulina 1 tbsp
  • Vanialla extract I tsp

 

Preparation Method:

Spirulina Energy Balls

Take a high-speed blender and insert all nuts and seeds in it, process all these to get a well-combined mixture.

Take a large mixing bowl and pour processed almonds, flax seeds and pistachio in it.

In the blender add apricots and softened dates and combine these at high speed.

Now add the mixture of nuts into the mixture of dates.

Combine both of these mixtures till a sticky batter with thicker consistency is obtained.

Shift the mixture now into a mixing bowl and with the help of your hands mix the remaining ingredients in it.

Put the batter inside the freezer for approximately 10 minutes.

You can measure the batter with Tbs, but for this ice, cream scooper can also be used.

In a gentle manner rolls batter’s Tbs in your hands for making small sized balls.

Once you make the balls, you roll these into shredded coconut, but this is not a mandatory step.

Place Spirulina Energy balls in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

Tip:

If you are allergic to any specific seed or nut, then you can replace it with any other suitable seed or nut. If you have similar problems with coconut then you can skip.
