- 8 slices of all butter pound cake
- 2 cups of strawberry ice cream
- 10 whole sliced strawberries
- 1 cup of cold heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
- 1tbsp of sugar
Preparation Method: Strawberries and Cream Ice Cream Cake
- Line loaf pan with 9×5 aluminum foil and ensure you leave overhang on the opposite sides to lift the cake out
- In a single layer place half cake slices at the bottom of already prepared pan.
- Spread ice cream on top of your cake slices using spatula.
- Layer the strawberries on top of ice cream
- Spread half of already prepared whipped cream on strawberries.
- Layer rest of the cake slices on top of the cream.
- The rest of the whipping should be spread on top and sides of the cake.
- Put the cake in freezer for about 6 hours or even overnight.
