Ingredients:  Tofu Fried Rice Recipe

 

  • Uncooked rice 2 cups
  • Reduced fat firm tofu (1 ounce) it should be drained and cut into cubes
  • Frozen peas, carrots 1 cup
  • Minced peeled ginger (fresh) 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) 3 tablespoon
  • Dark sesame oil ½ teaspoons
  • Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
  • Large eggs, lightly beaten 2 in no
  • Sliced green onions 1 cup
  • Garlic cloves 4 minced
  • Snake wine 2 tbsp
  • Hoisin sauce 1 tbsp
  • Green onions sliced (optional)

 

 

Preparation Method: Tofu Fried Rice Recipe

 

  • Cook rice according to the regular fashion, but don’t add fats and salt.

 

  • During cooking of rice heat 1 tbsp of oil in a larger nonstick frying pan over medium level heat.

 

  • Add tofu and allow it to get cooked for approximately 4 minutes till they get a light brown color and stir these after regular intervals. Take out of the pan.

 

  • Now add eggs to pan and allow cooking for one minute till they are completely cooked and eggs should be broken into smaller pieces. Take out of the pan and make the addition of vegetable oil (1 tsp.). Insert carrots, peas, and onions, ginger, garlic and blanch for two minutes.

 

  • During the time when the mixture of vegetable is getting cooked, you should add sake, Hoisin Sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil. Insert cooked rice into the pan and allow it to get cooked for 2 minutes and keep on stirring.

 

  • Add tofu, eggs, mixture of soy sauce and cook it for a period of 30 seconds and keep on stirring.

 

  • Use green onions for garnishing Tofu Fried Rice Recipe.
