- Dark sesame oil 2 tsp
- Matchstick cut carrots ½ cup
- Minced Garlic 2 tsp
- Brown rice chilled 4 cups
- Lower Sodium Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
- Green peas (frozen) 1/3 cup
- Shiitake mushrooms sliced ¾ cup
- Green onions sliced ½ cup
- Pepper ¼ tsp
- Lightly beaten large egg
- Water 1 tbsp

- In a large nonstick frying pan heat the sesame oil over high flame.
- Insert mushrooms, garlic, pepper and onions and stir fry till the ingredients turn tender.
- In it add cooked rice and for two minutes stir fry.
