Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Dark sesame oil 2 tsp
  • Matchstick cut carrots ½ cup
  • Minced Garlic 2 tsp
  • Brown rice chilled 4 cups
  • Lower Sodium Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Green peas (frozen) 1/3 cup
  • Shiitake mushrooms sliced ¾ cup
  • Green onions sliced ½ cup
  • Pepper ¼ tsp
  • Lightly beaten large egg
  • Water 1 tbsp

Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe

Preparation Method:

  • In a large nonstick frying pan heat the sesame oil over a high flame.
  • Insert mushrooms, garlic, pepper, and onions and stir fry till the ingredients turn tender.
  • In it add cooked rice and for two minutes stir fry.
  • Now carefully push the mixture of rice towards the pan’s side making a well towards the center.
  • Add the beaten egg and let it cook for 30 seconds, toss with the rice and stir fry till the inserted egg cooked.
  • Add Soy Sauce along with the other remaining ingredients and heat in thoroughly.
