Banana Smoothie with Nuts and Seeds is an incredibly healthy recipe. The flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, pepitas are blended with almond milk. The ground turmeric, almond butter, and vanilla also make the taste of this smoothie perfect. This banana smoothie recipe requires only 15-20 minutes for preparation.



Banana Smoothie with Nuts and Seeds


  • Grated nutmeg fresh
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 2 tsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 8 almonds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • One tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 ripe banana peeled

  • Put the banana in the freezer on a small plate one night before you want to make this smoothie. Take fresh flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds in a small bowl. Use water to cover these seeds in a bowl. Leave it overnight at room temperature.


  • Take a blender and put in ice, almond butter, honey, turmeric, vanilla, almond milk and almonds in a blender. Prior to transfer, the seeds into blender drain the seeds well. Add frozen banana in a blender and blend the mixture until smooth. This process may require a couple of minutes for blending.


  • Transfer the blended smoothie in a glass of large size. Use grated nutmeg to finish with a dusting.
