How to Cook:

Creamy Chicken Korma Recipe (Bangladeshi Style)

Make 10 pieces of chicken. Wash and drain the pieces thoroughly.

Add ginger, garlic, and well-beaten yogurt and mix the ingredients. Place the marinated chicken for an hour. If it is possible, place it in the refrigerator for one day.

In a deep pan, sauté onions in ghee or oil till these get golden brown color. Add bay leaf, cardamom, and cinnamon.

When you smell the aroma of the ingredients, add the salt and marinated chicken. On medium-high heat, stir the chicken frequently so that it does not stick to the pan. Cook it for 10 minutes. The juices and water will make the gravy.

Add three to four tablespoons of hot water to dip the chicken parts. Bring the gravy to boil. Let the broth simmer at lower medium heat.

Stir it occasionally. Within 25 to 30 minutes, the oil droplets will rise.

When the gravy is reduced, add sugar, lemon juice, green chilies, and ground almonds.

Cover the pot and cook for 5 more minutes on low to medium heat.

Garnish the dish with fried shallots, raisins and almonds. If you like, sprinkle rose water.

Serve the Creamy Chicken Korma dish with steamed rice, biryani or pulao.
