The Boiled Egg Fry Curry is an Indian and Pakistani dish that majorly comprises of curry with eggs. This egg curry can be served in various styles. The egg curry is an easy recipe to make for a quick lunch or dinner.

 

 

Ingredients: Boiled Egg Fry Curry Recipe

 

  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut, scraped
  • 50 grams Ginger
  • 50 grams Garlic
  • 3 small Onions
  • 5 Cloves
  • 14 Black peppercorns
  • 2 small Tomato
  • 5 Dried red chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 4 tablespoons Oil
  • Salt to taste

 

 

Cooking Method: Boiled Egg Fry Curry

 

  • Add ginger and garlic to the grinder.
  • Add water and grind.
  • Reserve the paste.
  • Take a pan and add oil.
  • Add cloves, peppercorns and onions.
  • Add the paste and heat the pan.
  • Take tomatoes, chop and add to the pan.
  • Add red chilies and turmeric powder.
  • Stir the mixture and heat for two minutes.
  • Add poppy seeds, coconut and fry for 5 minutes.
  • The fragrance of the paste will indicate that the mixture is cooked.
  • Wait for the mixture to cook down and add a cup of water.
  • Heat a pan and add oil.
  • Add eggs and fry.
  • Wait for the eggs to turn brown.
  • The eggs would have a coating on it.
  • Add salt and pepper to the eggs.

 

  • Remove the eggs from the pan.
  • Take the pan with the cooled mixture, add water.
  • Add the spices to the mixture.
  • Take a mixture and the cooled paste with water again.
  • The paste should be watery after mixing.
  • Take a cooker, add the mixture and oil.
  • Add the eggs, cut into half.
  • Add salt and garlic.
  • Cover the cooker
  • Cook the mixture for about 15 minutes.
  • The boiled egg fry curry is ready to serve.
