Spicy Cabbage is an excellent vegetable accompaniment; this vegetarian dish can also be served as a warm side salad.
Ingredients: Healthy Vegetable Recipe
Cabbage, shredded 2 ½ cups
Margarine 4 tbsp
White cumin seeds ½ tsp
Dried red chilies, sliced to taste
Onion, sliced 1 small
Carrots, grated 2
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Preparation Method: Healthy Vegetable Recipe
Melt the low fat margarine in a saucepan and fry the white cumin seeds and dried red chilies for about 30 seconds.
Add the sliced onion and fry for about 2 minutes. Add the cabbages and carrots and stir-fry for a further 5 minutes or until the cabbage is soft.
Finally, stir in the salt and lemon juice and serve Healthy Vegetable dish either hot or warm.
