Greetings from CookAwesome! During my stay in France, I attended several functions, on one weekend; I went to a friend’s party and got a surprising drink. I thought it is appropriate to share this stunning, amorous recipe: Red Velvet Green Smoothie.

This smoothie was rich and satisfying, everything you might need in a nourishing, nurturing smoothie. The pink color appears from beetroots (It has high immune-boosting vitamin C, potassium, fiber, manganese, and the B vitamin folate). The superfood cacao powder was also added in the smoothie. Trust me, it tastes like Red Velvet Cake.

Ingredients:

Red Velvet Green Smoothie | Healthy Vegan Smoothie

Beetroot, quartered (raw or roasted), 1 large

Banana, 1

Cacao powder, 3 tbsp

Almond Milk (vanilla flavored), 1 cup

Spinach leaves, 2 cups

Dates, 2-3

Ice cubes, a handful

 

Preparation Method:

Red Velvet Green Smoothie | Healthy Vegan Smoothie

Peel the beetroot and combine all the ingredients into a large blender and blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds or until smooth and creamy.

Serve Red Velvet Green Smoothie and enjoy!
